With all the talk about customer service via chat and smartphone, we somehow keep noticing:
As this infographic shows, customer service continues to be delivered via voice and real dialog between people LIVE on the phone.
The beloved Mr. Johann Philipp Reiss, who invented the telephone in Germany in 1861, is not the only person happy about this, but so are the many hotlines that actively provide service.
If you have a problem, a question, or perhaps even an urgent service request, you would want to quickly talk to a service employee in order to explain your problem and preferably find a solution immediately – if it weren’t for the annoying waiting line. Again, the infographic shows that after 10 minutes, very few customers have the patience to wait any longer.
